No matter how hard I study , I keep failing

Im in college as an 24 year old , studying maths. I study every day at home for one hour and come into college once an week for 2 hours 30 minuets because my course is part time. They only do part time for the maths course otherwise I would do full time. I dont seem to be progressing much. I started college last month. I have to get An C in maths so I can study at my dream college and study my dream course. I left school without an maths grade. I feel stupid. I try so hard but my brain doesnt seem to grasp it.

Do you have any hobbies? Persue your dreams instead. :)

@Horzes Gonna kinda echo what others have said. A good teacher always helps. One who understands how you're not understanding things and helps you to understand. It could be just a communication thing with your and your current teacher. Make sure to tell him/her what you don't understand.

@Matt85 If she isn't improving with a teacher, she will have to teach herself maths. She should get all of the materials she needs and study, on her own, what is being taught in her maths lessons. It seems to me that she does not have a good place to start if she left school without a maths grade. She will need to work hard, but also needs to be interested in the subject.
