Dance club rules
New school term, and I have resumed helping out at after-school dance club and performing the vital parental function of causing my 14 year old maximum embarrassment 🤣🤣🤣

This year the school has extended the "Student Expectations" they draw up for each lesson to extra-curricular activities. So for dance club students are now expected to:
(1) Remove coats and shoes outside the dance studio and store tidily in bags
(2) Enter dance studio in an orderly fashion
(3) Use elastics to tie hair back safely, not to fire at other girls
(4) Sit quietly on the floor until activity starts
All of which presented no great challenge for my little group of year 7s (the youngest students at secondary school), but rather more so for one group of older girls who, perhaps uncoincidentally, included my daughter 🤦♀ Said group was dragged along by their teacher to our section to observe how much more successful Mrs E's dancers were at following basic instructions 😇😁🤣
Standing at the back was my daughter directing poisonous looks in my direction, incensed no doubt that 'woke' ideology on rules and behaviour has finally infected her favourite ever thing at school 🤣
As a wise woman once said:
If "Going by the Book" is such a bad idea, why did they write the Book in the first place?
😌😌😌
