Got thoughts on public education?

I work in the system as a substitute teacher, for two counties in the state of Florida. (Which has some of the best public schools in the country.)

state indoctrination of propaganda has always been an aspect of public education. it's nothing new and will not soon change. that said, the socializing of children is vital to their development and is most easily accomplished in that environment. involvement by parents should be encouraged and welcomed.
