Private education (public school education, in Britain) can offer the best facilities, the best teaching staff, the widest range of subjects, the best opportunities for networking, the highest chance of getting into an elite university... and the best chance to meet the sort of arrogant, entitled shits who will be ruining (no, not running) your country for the next fifty years.

The public education system offers none of that.
@OliRos You are too young to be pontificating on any subject, especially education.

@LamontCranston 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Knob!

@LamontCranston Intelligent and articulate young people are probably the best equipped to talk about Education.

@ArtieKat You can't expect him to understand that, he was uneducated by nuns.

@OliRos Now, now! Play nicely, Olivia!

@ArtieKat I learned to play nicely in the English public school system. You know what that means.
@OliRos @ArtieKat I disagree about her ability to judge. By the way her prejudice against parochial school education (as we call it in US) is contradictred by countless comparisons with district schools.
If Miss Oli were smarter than (insert the name of your favorite genius), she still lacks the experience and judgment to make her initial statement.

@LamontCranston You're entitled to your opinion. I personally don't approve of kids being indoctrinated in religious dogma in return for a decent education so let's leave it at that.
@ArtieKat My comment was about intellectual rigor. But anecdotally, we had Jewish kids at the Jesuit high school I attended for that very reason.

@LamontCranston Let me put it this way, having known Olivia for longer than she's been on SW I wouldn't bet on your chances of outsmarting her.

@LamontCranston Just what is it about my initial statement that you think I lack the experience and judgement to assert?
