I had to do that once, but I had to use two pens of a different color for subsequent words.

@helenS that is a variation I have used. But 1,000 lines sufficed
helenS · 36-40, F
@InstructHer It must take many long hours to write a thousand lines. 😓
InstructHer · 56-60, M
@helenS she did it over nearly three days. I watched her several times. At least ten hours
helenS · 36-40, F
@InstructHer Lesson learned, I guess.
InstructHer · 56-60, M
@helenS I do hope so. She lost marks on college work simply by not paying attention.

@InstructHer Do you mentor her, please?
InstructHer · 56-60, M
@helenS yes I do
helenS · 36-40, F
@InstructHer You are very strict I have to say but there may be some girls who need that and it will help them to find their way in life. Personally I never needed that kind of mentoring.

@helenS she feels lost and unsure without firm guidelines and consequences. She is doing very well
helenS · 36-40, F
@InstructHer Some may raise an eyebrow but I don't. I can fully understand how your support will make you feel good, and will be extremely helpful for her. It's sad that some girls can't accept the fact that they need mentoring, due to a wrong notion of "independence".
InstructHer · 56-60, M
@helenS she is very positive about it.

@InstructHer I'm very glad she accepts your guidance. She will be thankful all her life.
