Yes and no is the best answer to this. However it taught me that you do not have to like a thing to do it well and get something out of it.

I enjoyed high school, mainly because I was always competing athletically and had close friendships with teammates and others.

Yes. It was good. Had a lot of good teachers and the future was bright.
