School teacher resigns after her OnlyFans account was leaked
I don't normally make posts reporting on current events, but this one kinda hits close to home...
An Arizona middle school teacher was recently pressured into resigning after her OnlyFans account was leaked among school students. Talk about chilling coincidences: my wife just so happens to be a preschool teacher, with an OnlyFans account herself! While I'm sure she doesn't have to worry about her account being outed (least of all by her students, lol), it seems she still can't help but feel a little nervous over this. Can't say I blame her since the similarities are pretty uncanny. This happened in our state, even! But my wife also posts risqué pics of herself in lingerie and swimsuits on her social media. If her having that kind of content of herself online could be called into the equation at her job, I think it would have been by now.
But I would hope that it would never be either way! I personally think it's ridiculous for a teacher to be judged and lose their job over having something like OnlyFans. In the case of the aforementioned middle school teacher, she stated she was doing it to make some additional income, which is also why my wife does it. Yes, they're posting sexually explicit content of themselves, which can be considered unbecoming for a school teacher, but at the same time, they're grown-ass adults! If any school has that big of an issue with a teacher being comfortable in their sexuality (so long as it's outside of their profession, of course), then they may as well only hire a damn nun.
Sure it can be embarrassing when you got the student body viewing your X-rated content, but the teacher shouldn't be faulted for that. It's not like she was telling students all about her OnlyFans herself. She even took measures to try concealing her identity. What if photos of her in a bikini at the beach start circulating around the school, should the teacher be pressured to resign over that too? I sincerely hope that woman can continue working in education and that no other school will hold what has happened against her, because it's total bullshit if they do. I especially hope this never becomes a problem for my wife who's in a very similar position.
