End of week 3

11 yo niece is resisting all efforts to persuade her to wear tights to school despite a sudden drop in temperature. My older sister recalls a bet I had in boarding school to see how long I could stay in summer uniform (mid January, if anyone is curious) . . "C****t, do we really have to go through all that again?" 🤣

Niece went without shoes all of yesterday to prove to the rest of us that it is really quite warm 😅 Her feet were like blocks of ice when I tucked her into bed, but she's probably doing her immune system a big favour 😊
