End of week 2

11 yo niece still finding school exciting, thank goodness. She's joined extra-curricular activities in gymnastics and netball, and she's made at least three new friends who weren't at her old school.

At the weekend I did a spot of tailoring to her leotard so that she would have at least one item of uniform that is not too big for her (most of her clothes are hand-me-downs from older cousins). When I came to pick her up after school yesterday afternoon she met me wearing an eclectic combination of leotard, school shoes and blazer. I think that means she likes her leotard 😅
