A good first week

Picked up 11 yo niece from school on Friday. First week nerves have long since disappeared and she was back to her usual chatty self. She eventually fell asleep on the sofa mid-sentence 🤗
Yesterday morning I was woken up by her climbing into my bed and snuggling up beside me. I hope she never feels too grown up to do this 🥰😌
We went to a trampoline park in the morning and then to the coast for a picnic and swimming. May have overdone things a little as she then slept for almost 13 hours and was still quite sleepy this morning. She needs to regather her energy for the week ahead 🙂
