How many times did you make it to the principals office in grade school?

Lynda70 · F
It was headmaster or deputy headmistress here. I lost count of the number of times I was sent there.

1960s and 1970s with me bring a nonconformist from 1rst grade on meant plenty of trips to the principals, counselors (nice name for paddle freak), assistant principals, arrogant coaches all often resulting in the paddle.

None for discipline. With mom to make him aware of legitimate concerns about a teachers performance/behavior. ( We had written and other proof of alleged behaviors)
All our Principles lost their faculties when the faculties lost their principals.
Never because I was in trouble. Once because someone had called in a threat and I had to be taken home.

@CdnMountie in my case it was cane or leather strap applied to hand or bum in the Head’s office. Fortunately, my schools did not notify parents when we were punished ( it would have needed an army of clerks) or I would have felt slipper or belt on my bare bum.
