Did your religious studies teachers ever say some twisted stuff?

In high school we had this one who went on a 20 minute rant about how Islam is the religion of the devil because far more Christians are killed by Muslims each year, than Muslims are killed by Christians. I don't know why we atheists got dragged into his class, because if anything they just helped confirm our position. THAT IT'S ALL BARMY!!! Talking snakes and this one idiot who tried to be a preacher in Turkey and got arrested.

My science teacher was great at his job and very intelligent, but he held some wacky beliefs. He happened to know we were both Catholics so one day, he pulled me aside after class and explained that Satan roamed the Earth back in ancient times, giving a small number of people superpowers. His theory was that Satan wanted to worship other people instead of worshipping God, and that this is how Pagan, Hindu, Hellenistic, indigenous American, etc. religious systems took hold.

Honestly makes a shit ton of sense if you're a Christian.

In 6th grade we had this hot teacher for religion. She would always bring up having sex with another guy as an example of adultery. As a teenager hearing her say “if I had SEX! With another man” just us guys horny as Fuck! But I’ll stop there
