Do you remember the apparatus in PE ?

Yes climbing ropes, the horse , gym mats , mini tramps , parralell bars , uneven bars , climbing bars , balance beam , I think the only thing we didnt have was a large trampoline .

@Ross19 Canings in general were frequent . They seemed to find any excuse to cane you . Not many guys went more than a week without getting caned for some stupid reason .

@Ross19 yep There was a saying in our school ."If you survived 5 years there the army would be a doddle " It was true alot of guys joined the army after leaving school .

@Ross19 It was believe me . Even though we were 100 miles from any civilisation alot of guys ran away but most didnt get to far and were brought back and caned for running away . Wasnt very pleasant at all . However they got the highest grades in the country and most went on to take senior positions in the army politics etc .

@Ross19 Yep most of the time it worked . Not me though . I had dislexia really bad and in those days no one knew what it was so everyone just thought I was dumb and lazy . I wasnt good at sport either thanks to a dikky heart no one picked up on till I was in my 30s and nearly died . Since then was hospitalized about 6 years ago with heart failure .
