I think public education in the us is horrible

I'm in my last few weeks of student teaching and trying to get 2nd graders to understand mathematical and grammar concepts that my son whos 2 years younger than them already has mastered difference is my son doesn't attend public school

You are right.

There may be a few good government schools, but sending kids to the vast majority of these so-called schools constitutes child abuse if it is willful and with knowledge. Not only do they get an inadequate education, but are indoctrinated with dangerous ideas.

Private schools and home schooling are the only viable options.
