@Experienced33 No, no major. I already have 2 degrees & an ESL certificate. I’m doing these courses so that I get certificates & can apply to hospitals. It’s my plan B if I don’t get a teaching assignment this August.

@Experienced33 Thanks. It’s not super hard as long as you go to class, do the assignments & study, but there is a lot of memorization which I’m not too keen about. I’d rather write an essay honestly. Lol

@Experienced33 I had to redo my ESL certification last year because the college that hired me wouldn’t accept my ESL certificate from Toronto from 1998, even though I had 20+ years of teaching experience by that point. So I spent $2500 to do it online. It was 5 courses, 7 weeks each. No tests. It was mostly essays, discussions & assignments. I hadn’t written an essay in 20 yrs, so I had to relearn it. I did well in those courses & got A’s. So essays are my preference to tests & exams.
