@Primnproper Yes he came off a gentleman, but there was something very different about him and I was simply trying to figure it out.
Him being a different generation explains this difference and how he didn't seem to understand the norms, thank you for letting me know.
I don't believe I was rude nor abusive, I simply asked why he was doing what he was doing as it was not normal. And I was honest, autistic people are the main ones that I run into that did what he did in the manner he did. And autistic people like he was are usually extremely nice and change the subject to something they prefer. Just like he did. I did not mean that as an insult. In a lot of ways autistic people are nicer and cooler than normal people.
I'm sorry that he felt it was abuse, I think we just had a culture misunderstanding. Like I said, it's not standard for someone to post that they don't want to talk about a subject, unless they're trying to get a laugh or it's politics.
Also, I guess I felt like he was looking down on us, as the subject wasn't good enough for him to talk about, and yet he's here talking about how he won't talk about it and try to move me to other subjects that are good enough. So I guess it rubbed me the wrong way and I was trying to figure where he was coming from.
As you have pointed out, he was coming from innocence, but I didn't know that when he first posted.
