Does affection and intimacy make you cringe and feel awkward?

When I see people kissing in films and shows, I feel a bit :S

I'm an advocate for such things, I just have trouble with the reality of it.

I think affection and intimacy go hand in hand. (Pun intended)
Everybody has different comfort levels and preferences certainly when it comes to giving or receiving affection and intimacy. So yeah some forms of affection might seem different or cringe or awkward sometimes. Interactions are all different and what works between two people may be different between two other people.
