I'm finally gonna ask this girl out in my work in the coming weeks

There's been such tension/consistent flirting between us since I started working there. The kind where you both know it but neither of you wants to make it awkward just in case you're wrong.

I'm gonna focus on making her feel emotionally safe, like no mixed signals, genuine consistent interest, then when the vibes right I'm gonna do it.

It's not something I wanna rush, has to be just right. Wish me luck, she's really great 🫰

1. It could be made less awkward, if this is presented as a work event: after hours drinks for a group, morning group trip to Starbucks, etc, where crossing that bridge might have a dual purpose.

"These appetizers are great. I know this great restaurant that serves them with this other wonderful sauce. We should go there."

2. It could also be a career ender and a lawsuit. What do you do for a living and are you in the same "department?"

Just don't wait too long. Easier said than done though, I know.
There was this girl I crushed on at work once & I kept chickening out on asking for her number. At the end of one night, she asked me for my number 😂 & it turned out that was the last day we ever worked together. So if she had never asked me herself, (I wouldn't have done it that night) I would've lost out on that whole experience
