Is it too weird not to have dated or even kissed anyone by the age of 30?

I mean... is it really that weird or bad?

More and more common. Not weird or bad. Society changes and people will tell you all sorts of negative things about it, but I’ll tell you something positive. I think that’s great. A chance to live life for yourself and learn things most people never knew.
SeekingConnection · 61-69, M
Maybe it's unusual, but I don't think it really matters. You won't suddenly become a completely different person when and if you do those things. Sex is fabulous, but it's much less of a big deal than society makes it out to be.

I think it only really matters if you're lonely and you really want to be in a relationship with someone. But it's your life. Other people's opinions really don't matter.

It is weird that people think it's weird. It is an incredibly personal choice and wishing to police it, and whether or not you have experienced it, by attaching negatively to its lack is creepy af.

I can't help but wonder about why they think it weird. It again reminds me of the tailess fox story.
nazgul · 26-30, F
It's fine. I was 25. I don't think it makes that big of a difference. I've since learned that dating casually is unappealing to me anyway, so it's not like I really missed out by waiting.

No it isn't, nothing is too weird anymore... There are so many experiences and ways to Live ... Be authentic, be who you are ❤
LittleUnicorn · 26-30
@being So sweet! Thank you!
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
Last date I went on was at 16. It's alright, maybe some of us just aren't interested

In this day and age, you're lucky. Personally I think these relationships often ruin people's lives. Natalists want more babies so they'll push traditional relationships that only work a certain percentage of the time. They just want numbers. I guess you could say I'm a natalist too. I just think we need to hand the whole thing over to machines. A couple typically produces 1 to 3 offspring. A machine can produce thousands. No defects, perfect mental and physical health. Never another psychopath, low IQ or sexual deviant. All raised by perfect AI parents. The numbers and performance in life would outstrip any other group on earth.
Lonelyandyb · 36-40, M
I don’t think so. I didnt date till I was 33. Haven’t managed to date since
acpguy · C
Not at all, my wife and I have been married over 30 years and we still do dates, kiss and get sexy with each other.
SeekingConnection · 61-69, M
@acpguy I think you've missed the point.
acpguy · C
@SeekingConnection No, you are just not too bright.

I assume that means no sex either. Id say it's a good thing. Wishing I would've saved it for the one I loved. When you're young it's seen as pathetic but when you get older your mindset does a 180 turn
Donotfolowme · 51-55, F
It's not about anyone, it's about the one.
So, then it means you haven't found your one yet. That's all what it is. Any sex or kiss will be different with your special someone so collecting the numbers and experience doesn't go very far.
It's neither weird nor bad. Everyone is different.
LittleUnicorn · 26-30
@MsSwan Thank you for that!

Offthetop · 51-55, M
Lots of late bloomers now. What do you hope for?
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
It's unusual, not bad, I'd say.
Nitedoc · 51-55, M
It's not weird or bad, just unusual.
You're saving yourself for the right one 🤷‍♀
eMortal · M
Where have you been? Held hostage? Sick?
LittleUnicorn · 26-30
@eMortal Huh?
dale74 · M
It means you are a master of control and demand the best and will not settle for less than you deserve.
LittleUnicorn · 26-30
@dale74 Wow. Never thought about it that way, haha. But thank you!
dale74 · M
@LittleUnicorn never underestimate the power and value of ones self. PM me if you would like.
Adogslife · 61-69, M
It’s not bad, just uncommon.
ArishMell · 70-79, M
Not "weird". It might be unusual, but not strange or wrong.
TexChik · F
It is if you want to do that sort of thing.
Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M
Why haven't you?
Bumbles · 51-55, M
Nothing wrong with being asexual.
LittleUnicorn · 26-30
@Bumbles Absolutely! But not the case :)
Bumbles · 51-55, M
@LittleUnicorn Oh, well, I’d you’re not unhappy about it, God speed!
ViciDraco · 41-45, M
It seems a little unusual but it is not bad unless you think it is bad. And even though it is a little unusual it is becoming less uncommon.
LittleUnicorn · 26-30
@ViciDraco Then it'd be weird, but not bad. Thank you!
Katie01 · F
It's weird to have not done that by 15 let alone 30
LittleUnicorn · 26-30
@Katie01 HAHAHHAhHAHA okay
Katie01 · F
@LittleUnicorn alright calm down virgin
An outlier, for sure.
LittleUnicorn · 26-30
@SomeMichGuy HAHAHAHA. Thanks for the laugh!
@LittleUnicorn Well, it's true, but normal curves HAVE outliers. So you ARE "normal"! 😊
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
It's not a race.

There is no such thing as "bad" with anything, so take that one right out of the equation of your self-assessment.
LittleUnicorn · 26-30
@MrBrownstone Weird or bad?
@MrBrownstone Not everyone wants to be a Ho.
