Is this too soon ?

I was wanting to propose to my girlfriend on Christmas Eve we been together for a year I really love and care about her she's pretty much my soulmate. Next month is our one year anniversary I'm worried it might be too soon.

It is not too soon. My wife and I met in July, were engaged in December and married in February. 7 months between meeting and marriage. 47 years later she is still at my side and we are more in love today that we were when we were wed.
