For the men, how do you act when you’ve had a crush on someone at work?

I know, I know, you shouldn’t date coworkers, but the truth is that it happens. Men, how have you acted in the past or how would you act around your work crush?

I do one of two things. Either I talk to them and ask about their life, finding out they have a partner then letting my feelings go after a few days.

Or, I ask to hang outside work and take it from there.

I have failed on multiple accounts of this however, that is the basic thing to do. The pool of partners is within the immediate friendgroup and I don't have one of those so works my only pool to fish from. I know my weaknesses so I do what I can.

If I make manager ever, then I will revise my plan...
