For me I could not ever get passed the regimented work fraternization rules and code of conduct in the Army, so I always kept quiet about the women I had crushes on.

To me it was not worth the scrutiny of the Army in my home personal life. I had to draw a line somewhere a boundary between me and my work and personal life.
