What does this mean?

When you tell your ex that you hurt so bad “that you just realize his value after it seems he have someone else or he have move on” when you just realize it because you’re always use that he always just care for you.

And his reply is “why did you just realize that now or why did you just felt that now?”

Does it mean its too late? And he is happy now?
