How do i get her to stop saying hi to me and stop trying to talk to me?

Girl at work i feel lead me on we talked all the time 24/7 for 2 months straight, she had a bf and cut it off so i don't wanna talk to her anymore. She will say hi everytime she see's or tries to talk to me if im around at work. But i dont wanna talk i respond to be nice and say whats up back. But maybe i should stop but don't wanna hummiliate her in public at work if i dont say hi or whats up back. I even changed the time i clock in and i avoid early morning pre meetings and just read the board just to avoid her. Really im just tryna get over her.

Should i text her and tell her i just dont wanna talk or should i tell her in person although now we barely see eachother or should i just start ignoring her Hi's completely ?

don't be nice, don't say hi, don't look at her, don't smell the air when she breezes by, don't talk about her to anyone who knows her, don't romanticize her emotional manipulations of the past. remember 3 months ago before this happened? get back to where you once belonged

Well you sound decent so maybe just keep it to civilised hellos. Theres always a possibilty that she stopped the chatting because she was getting too attached and she felt guilty. Also you work at the same place you don't want to create an atmosphere.

tell her you don't want to talk.
Then if she keeps up with the hello's I'd ignore, because at that point, you would have already told her you didn't want to.
