Are you a guy looking to impress a woman?

Take her to a high end restaurant and make it seem like it's not that big a deal to drop 2 or 3 hundred for dinner and beverages.

Want to really impress her though?
Know how to make those kinds of fine meals yourself. Be her personal chef for a night.

Boom, you're going to be a star to her.

Nice but need to have a romantic partner first to be able to do something like that. Kinda pointless making 'romantic dinners' for oneself alone. 8-) And being a woman's 'personal chef' only works if you're already a culinary genius, which most of us aren't.

How many of can just 'drop 2 or 3 hundred' on a dinner date at a high-end restaurant??? If you and your date move in high-end social/corporate/elite circles I'm sure a few hunjee for a dinner outing is nothing.

But for the rest of us, that only applies maybe to a wedding anniversary (and if you're not married.... ?). Seriously, two pub meals and a couple of drinks would be well under a hundred bucks (speaking in Aussie dollar terms), and a coffee date is even cheaper.

Definitely, none of the fancy stuff and if your British good old fish n chips out of the paper sat on a wall along the promenade watching the sea. Perfect!😍

@SW-User well, I do. When i was in my 20's and living alone, I took up cooking as a hobby. Now I can plate a meal that gets people to ask me to cook again, with earnest enthusiasm.

@SW-User yep. Many of us do really enjoy it

@ChiefWalksWith40oz I put peas or sweetcorn in noodles, still microwaves just the same.

@NoThanksLeon if you're a liar

Some of them would be all up for that first option. But the ones I know would gladly accept the second.
