May December romance
Never heard of this term before until today. Apparently it's about two people with a big age gap having a relationship. kind of like 'gold digger', 'cougar', 'sugar daddy', etc.

Not always a gold digger or sugar daddy type of relationship. I have a friend whose daughter met a man online thru their jobs and they got to know each other online and then decided to meet for lunch bc they realized they were attracted to each other. Over time the relationship deepened and turned from friendship to love. Neither is well off financially, but together they live very comfortably. He is 60 and she is 40.
