Going to be intubated this morning. Really nervous. Haven't been able to sleep. Please send me some good luck prayers or good vibes?

I think I am so nervous because the aftereffects of an endoscopy are severe discomfort for several days, and the worst of it is a sore throat and gastric pain. I hate sore throats.

ANY good vibes or prayers would be much appreciated.

I had no adverse affects of my endo
Didn't even feel like anything was done when i woke up

@pdockal Same here! I scared myself looking it up on the internet. The internet said my throat would be sore for several days, and it is not.

The worst was the IV. It was so horribly painful in my hand I was screaming and crying. Finally...and it seemed like forever...the pain stopped.

I just talk to my doc and trust them
So far none of them have been wrong
Part of the reason i use women doctors

@pdockal I have never met this doctor. I am scheduled for a follow up and will actually meet him on February 28th. I keep having "emergencies" like this so I haven't had an office visit yet.

Well when it's an emergency your stuck with who's on call
After you cab choose who you follow up with
I rarely use the ER doctor

@pdockal I didn't either...just followed the ER doctor's instructions. He wanted me to remain inpatient but I could not, as it would have been $390 out of pocket as co insurance.
