Got a math problem for ya

....and now I never was GOOD at math; more right-brained and literary, but let me take a swing a this.

If there are approximately 400k churches in the US, and 800k unhoused people..how many MILLIONS OF DOLLARS does your church need to annex an adjacent building, in order to hold BIBLE STUDIES about how to give to the poor and needy?

If each church housed just TWO people, maybe that tax exemption would be appropriate. Know what is INappropriate? D measuring contests btwn pastors.

Now I don't know who YOUR Jesus is, but MY Jesus flipped tables, and I believe He can flip elections.

The thing is that we have no clue of the scale of homelessness.

At best, we have a figure of the number of people "sleeping rough" on one night a year - what about the number in care homes and hotels that slip through the net because they don't sleep out on the street???

Or those who avoid city centres and town centres as sleeping locations???

You know in Hebrew, the term Antichrist is plural. It refers not to the son of Satan, but any number of people who come out and preach the opposite of Jesus’s teachings.
That sounds a lot like Christian nationalists to me.

@foldedunfolding Like, how do you vote against social welfare, against homelessness shelters, against immigration, and then claim you’re a follower of Jesus?

@foldedunfolding They can have whatever political views they want. They don’t have to explain themselves to anyone. But keep Jesus’s name out their mouths if they’re actively working against him.
