Something I've always wondered about concerning the events of this day.
Christians are always emotionally overwhelmed by the willing sacrifice of Jesus. That he gave his life for us.
But the Bible states as Jesus is on the cross he cries out " Father why have you forsaken me?"
That doesn't sound so willing to me, sounds more like "Get me outa here!!!!"

@robingoodfellow Exactly. I don't know if you like darkmatter2525's YouTube channel, or if you've even heard of it, but he does a video where a modern Christian is transported back to the day of the crucifixion, and he's told to save Jesus if he loves him so much. The angel even gives him a machine gun with an infinite clip, so he can't possibly lose against the Romans. He realizes that if he does that, he will then be responsible for his own mistakes, and he ends up shooting Jesus.

@robingoodfellow I was once told that Jesus was reciting the entire book of Psalms while on the cross and just raised his voice at the start of the 22nd Psalm. @LordShadowfire It’s probably in the translation somewhere, from Greek or Latin to whatever language it was translated from into English. Or some monk somewhere added the word “Good”;when he was transcribing it.
