Christians are human beings just like all the others and each person has their weakness,, their failures to live up to the standards of Jesus is normal.. That's the reason why People Need the Atonement of the LORD Jesus to obtain forgiveness for their sins and one of those sin is not treating others as one would like to be treated on occasions..

The whole reason for the Law is detailed in scriptures is to let humans know they fall short of the standards of the Law in scripture.. To let them know they have a problem they cannot fix.. To let them know they need the solution secured for them by The LORD Jesus..

But yet people who do not understand keep whining about Christians not living up to the standards of Christ as if their failure to live up to His standards makes Christianity a failure..

@Adstar People who hold themselves as being righteous and virtuous have more of a hypocrisy problem, than those who don't. Then, to act in the opposite way (by intention) is even worse.

@Fukfacewillie The problem is one of definitions.. When people read the word Righteous they think it means something like sinless or perfection or a person who makes no mistakes.. That is NOT the Biblical definition of word righteous..

Righteousness.. Is a person who is in the right relationship / position with God.. In the case of Christians it is about believing Jesus and trusting the Atonement that Jesus secured on the cross.. This person is right with God because their sins are justly forgiven.. Even though they are still faulty and still sin they are constantly being forgiven because they are in a Right / acceptable relationship with God..

Hypocrisy.. Hypocrisy is when a person tells others to live by THEIR standards and then fail to live by THEIR standards.. If a Christians are accurately revealing to others the standards of GOD they are NOT giving others their own standards.. So they cannot be accused of Hypocrisy when they then fail to live up to those standards because they are NOT their standards but GOD's Standards..
