im an atheist who bases ones incredibly limited views on Christianity on What Jesus supposedly stood for which was to love thy neighbour as yourself. Treat others how you would want to be treated and to not judge anybody
I think you just answered your own question. You're an atheist and then you talk about what Jesus stood for when you don't even believe in him and then coach on how people should be treated and not judged by anybody. I think you just did what you told us not to do.
Nobody said Christians are perfect. We know that we are not. But we do strive to do better. But I see according to Bible prophecy that people in the last days will call good, evil and evil, good and that Christians would be persecuted even more. Whether people are Christian or not, we must strive to love each other. That goes for everybody. But I have seen just the opposite of what you have stated, as well. I see more atheist and agnostics picking on Christians like never before. So let's not point fingers at each other but try to love each other more, the way the Lord said we should. I know I mess up and I'll be the first to admit it. I'm working on myself to do better. When I say I'm wrong then I'm wrong and I do repent when I make mistakes. I am not proud of that by any means and I will be learning to do better till I go home to be with the Lord.
You have to remember that there are some people who call themselves Christians but they are faking it and that makes me sad. Those who say they are believers and then do evil to people and talk to people awful, really makes me sad. Not everyone is like this. Not every Christian is like this. So please don't call the whole bunch bad because of some. Some have accused me of thinking I'm holier than thou, but that's the last thing I am. I try to improve every day. And I have in the past, apologized to those I may have hurt, when I mess up and say things I shouldn't have. That hurts my heart terribly. But I feel like when we know better than we do better. I take responsibility for that and try to do so much better. That's not the person I want to be at all. In my heart I feel like I love everyone. I want to be that person that won't make the Lord ashamed.

@LadyGrace i said atheist which means i dont believe their is a god. Their are Christian atheists who fully follow the practical teachings of jesus but dont believe in god. Im all for jesus practical teachings
@Guitarman123 I understand what you mean when you say atheist, yes. But to say there are Christian atheists is what I would call an oxymoron. That's not possible. One is either a believer or not. And that was not the subject of my reply.

@LadyGrace ive made it clear that im an atheist and my knowledge of Christianity is based on my slight knowledge of jesus.
@Guitarman123 what I'm saying is yes I understand that friend, but then you were doing what you told us not to do, and that is, picking on Christians.
