Well.. that's because left wing politics changes values and ideologies and standards so much. At least Religion is consistent, well before people get involved to tweek it to their satisfaction.

@StraightLacedLADY That's not true some core values unite all leftists and there are different ideologies within leftism that don't change since leftism is an umbrella term.

There have been some personality cults within both left and right wing ideologies and I don't think that's ever a good thing.
