Are you a church person?
ArishMell · 70-79, M
No - apart from funerals!
Though some of the several of those I have attended in the last few years were non-religious.
I did though attend, by invitation, the ordination to Deacon of a friend, several years ago now. She subsequently became elevated to vicar.
Regarding behaviour, I try to follow the Christian spirit of respecting other people, but I don't need believe in a deity and rituals to be good.

I have had friends that were brought up religious.
They would be on and off with being involved with the church itself, but what I noticed is that in times where they needed comfort and direction, they would always go back to thier church.
It can be a great place for people to have connection and involvement.

I attend every Sunday. I go to Catholic Church. One Mass a week does not seem to be enough for me; I am thinking about going to two a week. The priest celebrates five Masses a week. When I am in Mass, I feel the presence of God, and I recently have been overwhelmed with emotion. I was nervous for some time when first attending, but now it feels very good to attend. However, I need these good feelings to stay with me after Mass, at least until the next Mass.

you don't have to be religious to do the right thing so I think you've got it. Photo spot? Never thought about that but yes indeed it does make for good pictures

I'm an atheist. Love the architecture in a nice church, though.
