I asked my 5y/o how children’s church this morning was.

It means more when you hear that from a little kid just remember to always remind your child. And remember if God has that much forgiveness you should also forgive as God would forgive. Just remember when your child does stuff that irritates you there's no reason to lose your cool. I once started to get really upset is my daughter was breaking eggs but I thought it's only $1.50 worth of eggs I wouldn't get a bowl and I said okay drop the egg in the bowl and watch it crack we went through two dozen eggs that day.

The church I go to does something similar except the kids sit up front for a brief kids’ time

Awwww. I go to a very small historical church. I always come away feeling good.
