What is your opinion of people who stand in the street and encourage people to come to church?

Preaching the gospel in the streets is something one must really be called for by the Holy Spirit, or it will be disastrous. It's not easy, and some have even been killed for it.

It may seem odd to some, because people aren't accustomed to it and have not been exposed to much of that in this day and age.

Jesus said to go out and spread the gospel to all nations, so I see nothing wrong with it. Depends on how the gospel is delivered, as to the effects it will have. It should always be delivered with love.

I am very Neutral towards them.. It all depends on what kind of Church they are encouraging others to come to.. For instance if they are encouraging people to come to the Church of Scientology i will be very much against it..

You don't have to talk to street preachers if you don't want to.. They are mostly focused on sharing their beliefs so they want to be doing the talking.. If you have a question then sure try to ask it.. Some of them will be more open to dialogue and some will be less enthusiastic about it.. Generally most street preachers like it when the public engage with them, I understand why some people would be nervous.. It is in public so any discussion will be like a public performance and a lot of people have stage fright..

You make it sound like there are Church press gangs 😆 Anyway, do you trust in Christ alone for your eternal salvation and is the gospel there?
