Do you consider yourself a religious person?

No. I try to be a faithful servant to Jesus Christ. I fail a lot.
I think following religion tends to be more like representing a culture and traditions. That’s often Pharisee-like. I don’t do that.
@Colonelmustardseed Yet you believe in the deity of the Christian religion, and say very Christian things.

But it's not a religion.

@LordShadowfire You took the words out of my mouth. Colonel makes a distinction between religion and the living God that you see as a deity. I make a distinction between truth and delusion that you see as you, a living human being.

Bruh.

@LordShadowfire The problem with you atheists is that you rely on authority of intellectuals the way religious devotees look up to the clergy. Neither of you can think for yourselves.
@LordShadowfire Yes. The difference isn’t understood by those who don’t believe. Sometimes even those who claim the faith. I didn’t get it before either. The only reason I understand now is because the Lord reached me. So it’s not something I can explain perfectly in order to be understood. I pray God will reach everyone who wants to understand. For those who don’t want to, there’s nothing I can say.

Those who don't want to are the ones who ask for explanations. I wonder why?
@sree251 Those who don’t want to understand?

@Colonelmustardseed I think they want to prove that science is only source of knowledge and enlightenment.
@sree251 No, we're just waiting for you to prove that this being you've postulated is real.
@sree251 I think it’s understandable that people who don’t believe don’t understand the difference between religion and following Jesus Christ. How could they? It doesn’t make sense unless you know the Lord.
@Colonelmustardseed It doesn't make sense in general. You have all the trappings of a religion. You've got a book, you've got a place to gather, and you've got a deity.
@LordShadowfire I have a person who showed up repeatedly and reached out to me during some of the lowest moments of my life. Then showed me He is who He said He is.
@Colonelmustardseed Yeah? You got photos of him?
@LordShadowfire Like I said, if someone actually did want proof, I pray God shows it. There’s nothing I can say to change anyone’s mind.

Don't give up, my friend. Jesus never did give up on us even when he "died" on Good Friday. Today is Saturday. Jesus will rise again (symbolically) tomorrow on Easter Sunday.
