Another thing I don't know what to think of in religion is the idea that everyone deserves to go to hell.

So basically all humans deserve to be tortured mercilessly forever and ever when we die is what that means. Does that include children as well? If not, what age do children start to deserve to be tortured endlessly? Is it when they become adults at 18 they start deserving it, or is it at a younger age maybe teen/preteen?
I'm sure people will say that's up to God. But what's your opinion on the matter?

@BlueSkyKing I've thought about that too lol wouldn't it be kinda cruel to teach someone about Jesus and them reject and go to hell as opposed to let them stay unaware and not go to hell
@Blazer420 Hitchens often said "we’re born sick and are commanded to get well". Punishment from what Adam and Eve did.

@BlueSkyKing Just in case anyone doesn't get it here's a longer quote

Once you assume a creator and a plan, it makes us objects in a cruel experiment, whereby we are created sick, and commanded to be well. And over us, to supervise this, is installed a celestial dictatorship, a kind of divine North Korea. Greedy, exigent, greedy for uncritical praise from dawn until dusk and swift to punish the original sins with which it so tenderly gifted us in the very first place.”
