A Roman temple discovered under Leicester cathedral. Pretty cool.

Also confirms the belief that most of the Christian sites in Europe are appropriated pagan sites. People could have been singing and praying in these spaces for even longer than recorded history would have us believe.

Makes sense, Iona, one of the birthplaces of Christianity in Scotland, was sacred before St Columba made it his headquarters. No doubt other sites are the same.
