What religion openly accepts LGBT+?

I mean, why don’t they all?

I don't get it if love is part of religion why do they get so strict on who you can love

@SW-User I agree with you, to a certain extent.

It's in the old Testament, in the Bible, where they call the people of Sodom and Gomorrah and their practices abominations.

They also believed, in those days, that if you ate pork you could absorb devils into your body. From our more enlightened perspective, we now know that the "devils" were trichinosis, but Orthodox Jews would rather die than have a pig's heart transplanted into their body...(a common transplant choice).

I think we did experience a warning in the form of the AIDS epidemic, so there probably WERE and still ARE valid health reasons for those ancient writings.

These are the same sorts of primitive beliefs that cause the people of fundamentalist religions of all sorts to commit their own abominations, in the mistaken belief that they are following the word of God...(or Allah).

Hate is NOT part of the New Testament, and it is not what Jesus Christ died to teach us.
