What religion openly accepts LGBT+?

I mean, why don’t they all?

What do you mean by "accept"?

The churches I have attended accept everybody not carrying weapons

And many churches have accepted those carrying weapons

@questionWeaver I think she means she would like to attend a church, (because it can be a grounding experience, especially for children), but doesn't want to change her lifestyle.

I think she is looking for a church that won't call her a sinner, or condemn her.

Those are few and far between. The Unitarian church accepts all lifestyles and all belief systems.
@4meAndyou we all are sinners ... so, she is looking for a church where nobody has original sin or added sin on?

Wow ... that would be hard to locate
4meAndyou · F
@questionWeaver The Unitarians accept everyone...Wiccans, Atheists, you name it...they're in there.
@questionWeaver I think she’s just looking for somewhere that people aren’t told that they will suffer eternal damnation and be burned in hell, simply for being LGBTQ. Sin in general, is a whole different discussion. Be well, my friend.
@DarkHeaven
Thank you ... for that criteria, none of the Catholic or Episcopal churches I have attended have had either members or clergy espouse that.

As far as sin, like you said, we all are sinners and I am strong competition there.

They all stay inside the Gospel ... of love, hope, joy, grace, faith, mercy, charity, healing, kindness and the 1st two commandments ... love God and Love each other.

I can say I have never been present for a damnation sermon.

As always, appreciative of your kindness and gentleness!
@questionWeaver I agree. Some are more accepting of alternative lifestyle but as to the LGBTQ damnation stuff, that tends to be more a thing of certain Protestant churches and not something I have ever seen inside a Catholic Church.
