Wishing you a gentle morning and a day full of peace.

Are you doing something hard today? Maybe the hard thing will be getting out of bed when you'd rather hide under the covers. It might be dealing with a difficult relationship, tackling a project that feels impossible, overcoming an addiction, trying again when you've failed before, or choosing to stay when you just want to go.

Whatever the details of your situation, God is in them with you and you're deeply loved. He is the one who spoke the world into being, who scattered the stars into place, who sculpted the first man from dust and breathed life into his lungs.

He is the God who came to a manger, who hung on a cross, who defeated death and rose again. He is not a stranger to challenges, not unfamiliar with suffering. He knows what it's like to be human in a world where all is not as it should be.

He is the God who calls you beloved, who invites you to come to him as you are, who asks not for perfection but perseverance. It's enough to take one more step forward with him today, even if it is wobbly or uncertain, even if you need to pause and rest, even if tears fall or frustration rises.

The One who loves you will give you the strength you need. He will give you the courage to face whatever is in front of you. You will never have to rely only on your own resources. You will never be too weak, because you have limitless power living within you. Nothing is too hard for your Jehovah God.

I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength. Philippians 4:13

Thank you. I started back on chemo on Friday and Ray did last Wednesday, both of us were diagnosed a couple weeks apart. I don’t feel nearly as bad as I did a couple years ago when I first started chemo, but we have both started losing our appetites. Thank God for the grandson, he is helping us any way that he can, he has his driver’s license now too.
@cherokeepatti I believe her.

@LadyGrace Why anyone else in my family hasn’t developed multiple cancers is a mystery to me. My father and grandfather had prostate cancer. My grandmother had breast cancer but she had been bitten by a rattlesnake earlier and never got treated for it. The doctors said back then that the snake venom likely settled in her lymph glands and caused the cancer.
@cherokeepatti THAT is craaaazy!!!! Wow. What a thing to happen.
