Expression, connection... Fear...

We're living in a time when it's normalized to become withdrawn and fearful. Fear is the emotion that creates the most motivation to act, did you know that?

There's so much fear in the world now, the only thing that changed is each human being has become significantly more visible to the world. Pick your nose in public? See it later on YouTube with thousands mocking. Fear is powerful, you don't even need to experience the lashing of the whip once you know it's sting one time is enough. Electric fences work the same way, 1200 lb animal being held in by something that would take 10 lbs if that to knock it down.

Fear has been studied extensively because of its power in society. You know the commercials actually pay more to play during content that is rated high in creating fear? True story. It's like that because you remember and crave those ads way more. Fear is powerful if it's a sword you weild... For many of us, we are the ones taking the lashings.

Fear motivated me into meditation, anxiety was so extreme... Unbearable. Action was needed, that's what I found, meditation. Then fear began to fade and I began to see the light of the world cracking through the crust of my broken, shattering, cemented walls... I see myself. I've lost many people in my transformation process, they didn't understand the change. Then new levels of fear, abandonment, loss, loneliness, judgement, self consciousnesses, self doubt, choosing self love and losing because... The bridge that you walk into over and over again shedding... It shakes and may fall, but it will never fall because it's you, on shakey legs yes, nonetheless it's you. The shedding, the destruction of the maladjusted tower leaving space yet again whispering.... Rebuild.

I see myself, I avoided this peak. To turn away is to become the walking dead, to turn away from myself. There was nobody there when I looked from below, there has been nobody there as I call from below. I've accepted nobody is there, yet I'm still below. I may be wrong... But I don't think so. I miss connection, how can I miss what I've never had... How can I crave what I've never known.

I guess alone is perception, we are never truly alone. One foot in front...

That’s wonderfully worded wisdom. How did you tackle your fears?

@Renkon I just had to, I was on a ledge. I faced them through meditation. I began to notice the slight pushing away I did at my fears... My internal resistance. So I stopped doing that, it was like training a skill. Then the fears vanished when the resistance vanished.

@S33K3R How did you decide on meditation? What kind of mediation and who helped you throughit?
Meditation, I discovered, has the potential to clear the dust from our perception. It's helps me.

@Renkon a friend gifted me a book from Osho called the book of secrets. Nobody was with me, but I did each method for 2 weeks daily. It changed my paradigm. It was beautiful.

@S33K3R That's great; you're self-taught. It's great to hear it helped your thought process. When you find a positive benefit, you may wish to delve deeper into the practice of meditation. If you do, please find an experienced guide to help you navigate the experienceeffectively. You require help in understanding the subtle changes and re-alignment of your mind and body during meditation. Just a humblesuggestion, hope it helps you.
