Great and terrible decisions

I have had opportunities to make decisions that, if I had chosen wrongly, could have made life worse for me, and some choices could have made life much better. But one thing I truly appreciate about life is that growth never stops. I have learned to live with both regrets and lessons.
Some mistakes gave me the opportunity to make things right again. Some never gave me a second chance. Yet every experience taught me something valuable.
I have chosen to be like a lantern that never gets the chance to see the darkness beneath itself, yet still shines enough light for others to see their own path clearly.
Thread carefully through life. Learn from other people’s lessons, and most importantly, never make decisions without putting God first.
Funny enough, there are times you still put God first, pray, ask questions, and yet feel like you hear no answer. But I have learned this the hard way: silence from God can sometimes mean “no,” and other times it means “be patient.”
And patience is a lesson life teaches deeply.

@AngelUnforgiven if we don't learn from them we end up being a good or bad example others learn from
That's how life is
