I think it's always better to talk it out and let each other know how something made you feel. Got to communicate to understand each other. They can reassure you that you have no reason to feel jealous and explain why they behaved the way they did. Or explain whatever the situation is.
I think there might be ways to talk about it without conflict or being accusatory or letting anger or jealousy take over. You could gently say; I noticed such and such and was curious what you were thinking about, or if everything is ok? Or encourage them to tell you more about the situation.
And go from there?
