I think the first question before any relationship is what is your vision and dream of your future ?

A man needs to have a women in his life to assist him in getting to his dream or his vision and if a women is with a man without a vision and dream she will not be satisfied . she will follow her own dream and vision of having a man with a dream and a vision would you agree ?

It is not about gender, everyone needs to have an understanding of who they are and what they want before investing in a relationship. And for some people a partner is not necessarily part of that.
@MorriganoftheNight yeah, but it's easier with two people working towards a dream .

He's talking about relationships, not so much singular paths .🤷
@OogieBoogie i would have to say my thoughts for me personally is two people does not make it easier or even guarantee success.
@MorriganoftheNight I'm talking in general terms, not really personal ones.

But I understand your point .

Everyone should follow their own dream and it’s important to have a life purpose. As per being an issue in a relationship, I don’t think so. It wasn’t until this year I discovered my life purpose, and I have been with my bf for 3 years. A lot of people don’t have their lives figured out, there’s a beauty in growing with your partner.

@MorbidCynic yes I do agree with you completely but you need to have some kind of a vision to work towards together ... I don't think you will ever actually get there without a life partner but to actually have a vision is so important from my perspective

I found asking what they were doing to move their dreams along was very helpful. (Not by putting them on the spot like an interrogation, but just discussing both our plans in action, so to speak) It’s easy to talk about dreams and goals, but it’s another to be getting things done.

Not every man is meant to be with a woman. Some people are better off alone. But if they happen to find a supportive partner that’s even better.

@deadteddy yes I think the main point I'm driving is that we shouldn't go diving into a relationship if we don't have good goals dreams and a vision of a further future together cause that's the main cause of infidelity in most relationship I think according to my observation of countless failed broken homes because of lack ambition
A man can reach his dream without a woman

@BeefySenpie sorry maybe I came across biast to have a life partner ... you need to have a vision as a man
Thank you for BC 💐
I'm not sure I agree. Goals ARE important, and having aligned ones is reasonably important in a relationship .

I think a good relationship has a lot to do with matching ethics.
Relationships can have multiple goals , or maybe even none whatsoever ....isnt it about how you ARE together , and HOW you work together?
The journey so so speak, not the destination .

I mean, if you don't enjoy the moments , what is the point of slogging your life to a goal if it's not the the togetherness you enjoy the most ?

@Pinkstarburst I think your visions and dreams need to coincide for it to be a healthy strong bond
