@graphite I don't think if you treated her good she'd want to get out. I've always told myself that if I were to ever get married and he's faithful and treats me with respect even when we disagree then I'm in for life. That's not too much to ask for now is it.

@Thandeka Lots of cases of women ending it because she's bored, unfulfilled, thinks she can do better. "Irreconcilable differences." And women know they reflexively get sympathy, men reflexively get blame. 70%-80% of divorces are filed by women, 90% if she's college-educated. At least in the US and the west. Can't speak for the situation in your country. Hopefully it's better than it is here.

@graphite I do know that guys mess up a lot in my country. Sure nobody is perfect but the guys take the cup in messing things up. One lady got thrown out of her home late last year, a beautiful one at that, a home she helped to build by her husband all because of a side chick. People advised the lady to go to the court of law. Would you feel sorry for the guy if he lost everything?

@Thandeka It's usually men being thrown out here. Man gets kicked out of his own house, wife denies access to the children and then he is labeled a "deadbeat." Lots of men paying child support for kids they don't even get to see and maybe who are not even theirs. Off to jail if they can't pay. More men are seeing these situations and saying no to marriage.

@graphite I'm sure the law would support you if you were paying child support when you can't see the kids. If someone isn't sure the kid is theirs they can always do a paternity test. I know some women can be petty denying the dad access to the kid but don't paint all women as bad. I don't want kids because I don't want to raise the kid on my own if the dad decides to leave. Men get away with not paying child support in my country it's heartbreaking.

@Thandeka The "Law" does nothing beneficial for fathers!! Men are treated like debt slaves and are denied any relationship with their own children, while being forced to pay for children that are NOT their own.

@UnderLockDown It's not always the case. Some men don't care to have a relationship with their kids. They are too busy chasing women to even think about their kids. Meanwhile some males that do want to have a relationship with their kids are either given the right to and others are denied like you said. Not every woman is bitter and not every guy behaves like a dog.

@Thandeka Nonsense. Lots of these men are simply blocked from seeing their kids by the mother. if this can happen to billionaire Kanye West, what chance does an average man have to overcome this?

@Thandeka Most men do act like dogs! Like working dogs. They go out and bust their asses all day, they stay loyal, they defend the ones they love, and then they get mistreated and forced to sleep outside.

@UnderLockDown And our western culture says men deserve this, defaulting to, "If she's throwing him out, she must've had a good reason. Shame on him!"
