It means he’s suffering as much as you and that’s a good sign. He’s telling you he’s having his first okay day, so that means he’s not usually doing so well. I feel like that would help me sleep better.

I had a bad break up about 10 years ago. Lots of hard feelings bc he did it at the worst time and I was REALLY angry for a very long time. Then I saw him at a local grocery store about 3 years later. We talked for a bit like friends would. When I got home I think I sat there on the couch for an hour wondering wtf just happened after being so angry for so long. Closure. It was closure.
