Is it taboo to marry your brother's sister-in-law? Your brother's wife's sister?

Shaveit · 61-69, M
At one point in life I knew a set a twins that married another set of twins… Brothers married sisters. So I wouldn’t see what was wrong with that even though it sounds really bad.

Wouldn’t that be an interesting family tree flow chart to look at…🤣😂🤣

Depends if the other in question is male and has any genetic relation to the sister .

I know three families who did that, and everything worked out great.

They're not blood relatives so no, why should it matter?
OverTheHill · 56-60, M
No. My Mom's sister married my Dad's brother.

@Keepitsimple I personally don't see anything wrong with it but I was wondering because Different cultures have different customs and taboos.
Keepitsimple · 51-55, F
Nah, I think that’s acceptable in any culture. 😉@TheArbitrator
