I agree and I've never been married and I won't, I'm already too old for that.

Marriage is not for everyone, some have been hurt and are afraid of that pain, others refuse to do what is necessary to get along. Others have no intention of honoring their vows.

Then there are those who (like me) believe it was the single best decision of my life. I chose well and work hard to make sure he chose well too. It takes two to make it work, and when it works, it is amazing.

I'm now getting ready to be married as an older, wiser person. Idk about all that. But I still love me some Agatha 🤷🏾

As a wise person, you've wisely narrowed down your prospects. Then comes the risk of a latecomer's claims on your estate, to the disadvantage of those already willed it. I think both would contribute to a drop in late marriages among the cohort composed of the wise.
