My sister-in-law's sister just married off her 16 year old daughter

My sister-in-law's sister is Muslim. She was once a feminist and then got married to a muslim man. I still can't believe this is happening. I think he's around 25. I'm just sickened & shocked about the entire situation.

@Frostcloud I just can't believe that her mother agreed to it... completely brainwashed to not protect her own children. Hopefully the 16 year old will be permitted to fly back to Canada, from Pakistan, where they married. I'm doubtful though.

Muslim culture is very different from our own...and that is why we are so shocked by it. It's also why many Muslims are not able to assimilate or blend in to western culture.

I can't explain or condone what she has done...I just hope her 16 year old daughter can find some sort of happiness in her marriage.
